Window Force manufactures specialty shape windows in non-rectangular configurations including round, round top, octagon, trapezoid, and other custom geometries. All shapes are built on the Classic Series platform in lead-free uPVC with fusion-welded corners, and are supplied as fixed non-operable units compatible with the mullion and combination assembly systems used for standard rectangular windows. Specialty shapes are designed for non-venting openings, large-span elevations, and architectural accent positions.

How It Works

Specialty shape windows are manufactured to the exact dimensions and geometry of the rough opening. The uPVC frame profiles are heat-bent, mitered, or welded to achieve the required angles and curves, and the glass unit is cut to match. For curved shapes such as round and round top windows, the frame is bent to a consistent radius and the sealed glass unit is shaped accordingly. For angular shapes such as trapezoids and octagons, the profiles are mitered to the required angles and fusion-welded at each corner. All shapes are non-operable — there are no hinges, operators, or locking hardware.

Specialty shapes are placed in architectural accent positions that require visual interest beyond a standard rectangular window: gable peaks, above entry doors, in circular windows in a facade, or as accent lites in a multi-window combination. They are also used in triangular or trapezoidal openings created by rooflines or structural frames that don’t align to a rectangular grid. uPVC The window system is manufactured using uPVC vinyl extrusion supplied by Vision Extrusions Group, a North American manufacturer specializing in high-performance vinyl profiles. The material is formulated to provide long-term dimensional stability, impact resistance, and resistance to discolouration under varying environmental conditions.

Internal Chambers These windows have the highest number of internal chambers, giving them out-standing insulation and sound abatement qualities, as well as thermal efficiency and increased sturdiness.

Fusion Welded Corners Provide attractive appearance & eliminate the need for adhesive and sealants. There are no imperfections on the completely watertight and airtight surface, Interior walls are also welded.
