Window Force windows are backed by a warranty on materials and workmanship, with coverage of up to 25 years at 100%, plus a separate 10-year non-prorated warranty on insulated glass units. Coverage is transferable to a new homeowner if the property is sold. This page explains what's covered, what isn't, and how to file a claim.
Warranty coverage applies to the manufactured window product — vinyl frames, sash, hardware, and insulated glass units — and is transferable to a new homeowner. Installation labour is the responsibility of the installing dealer or contractor, not Window Force. Below is a simplified overview.
| Coverage Type | What is Covered |
|---|---|
| Material & Workmanship Warranty | Manufacturing defects in vinyl frames, sash, and hardware, tiered by year (see schedule below) |
| Glass Warranty | 10-year non-prorated coverage against sealed-unit failure (film formation or dust collection between panes) |
| Transferable Warranty | Coverage may be transferred to a new homeowner if the property is sold |
| Installation / Labour | Not covered by Window Force — the responsibility of the installing dealer or contractor |
| Exclusions | Improper installation, acts of God, negligence, high indoor humidity, and other conditions listed below |
Coverage on materials and workmanship steps down over time as follows:
| Warranty | Factory | Client |

| Up to 25 years | 100% | 0% |
| 25 to 30 years | 80% | 20% |
| Over 30 years | 25% | 75% |

Congratulations on choosing the most advanced window available in today's marketplace. These windows are manufactured to the highest standards using uPVC materials. To clean them, simply use mild soap and water. We suggest you periodically clean any sliding tracks to enable the windows to operate smoothly. For stubborn stains, cleaner such as Fantastic may be used. Do not use harsh abrasives on vinyl. We are confident you will enjoy your windows for years to come.
